2004 XC90 will not start
Help, I have a 2004 XC90, I disconnected the negative cable on the battery to clear the codes as the check engine light was on. Now the car will not start? Volvo had the car and suggested that I have the Alarm system removed, I did. Still will not start. Anyone ever have this problem? When I scan the car now there are no codes present.

Volvo had the car - you towed it away from them? What kind of alarm did you remove - the factory or an aftermarket?
Car will not start - starter won't engage or spins over and won't catch?
You scanned the car with what? A generic OBD scanner? You need a compatible scanner that can talk to all the control units as a first step.
Towed the car to Volvo, towed it back out after they wanted $300 to remove alarm and yet would not promise that car would run after work done, they were not sure what was up with it. Starter/motor cranks over, has spark, fuel, compression, etc. everything that it needs to start. Removed the factory immobilizer work done by Alarm company. Scanned with a Zurich, oem enhanced Volvo scan with updated software on the scanner no codes. Car ran perfect before battery unhook, only issue was almost all the warning lights were on yet everything functioned correctly.
