I have had problems with my key getting stuck in the ignition. I have had it in the shop and repaired more than once. Last year I had to order a whole new ignition which came from Sweden-special ordered. Now it is doing the same thing. Any thoughts?
Also my weather mode button needs to be replaced-part alone is $400.00-I have never used it-infact realized it did not work after our area got heavy snow during Christmas time. Is it worth having fixed?

There are several reasons why the key could be getting stuck in the ignition. I am not familiar enough with Volvos to know much about these reasons unfortunately... but I had it happen in an Accord a while back. The shifter wasn't locking in Park completely, and as such the key wouldn't release.
Everything I have heard about the Winter mode is that it is bad for your transmission if used too much. I am staying away from it on my car... hopefully someone else can help you out further though (I'm interested in it too).
