How do you reset the alarm when it is going off? I've tried unlock and lock and unlock on the remote and the door, I've tried the panic and emergency buttons on the remote, and eventually me pushing buttons shuts it off, but is there a specific sequence? Twice in the last 24 hours, my alarm has gone off when I've attempted to start the engine. The first time, I unlocked the car, inserted the key and turned when the alarm went off. The second, it was unlocked when I tried to start it and the alarm went off. The alarms were back-to-back - the first leaving work and the second after returning home and going back out. I've started the car three times since with no issues. My teen (who much prefers driving our S40 - even more so now!) would be mortified if this happened to her at school.

Second - I've had the immobilizer engage a couple of times in recent months. Cannot find any common thread and I've always been able to start it after a couple of tries. Any specific sequence to disengage that as well?
