I have an opportunity to buy a 2009 Volvo XC90 for my first family car. Currently at 159Kms, with the Yamaha V8, 4.4L Engine. Is this still a good buy for me? if ever, it will be my first Volvo.

 

I'm sorry, but this question is a little like asking if going to a new restaurant will be a good experience.

There are service-related issues on any vehicle with that kind of mileage. What comes to mind that is on the difficult side are the valve cover gaskets and the alternator. They are not a lot of fun to change, but it all depends upon the vehicle. Every used car is unique.
