Hi Folks,

I just bought a 2010 XC90 3.2 AWD. I have sched maint covered by Volvo for 60k, however I'd like to have a break-in oil change done by a local shop (they have done great work for me on other cars i've owned)

Few questions...
- AutoZone only carried an STP S10415 filter for the car. Has anyone used this filter? Any issues?

- Is there anything I should know about changing the oil on this car? I've heard about specific order (remove oil filter first) as well as something about a special tool to remove the filter housing. Is this needed?

the tools needed are,

filter tool 36mm socket, yes, but just loosen all the way, dont remove yet.

belly pan 7 bolts, 10mm socket

drain plug, 17mm socket

GET THE DRAIN PLUG CRUSH WASHER, AND WHILE YOUR THERE, GET THE FILTER AND O-RING. its like the kit.
