Hey everyone I have a 2013 xc90 3.2 that runs into an intermittent engine performance reduced issue. The car randomly goes into this usually when we are in stop and go traffic. This causes me to have to then turn the car off and on and sometimes it goes away on its own by driving through it. When it first started doing it we would also sometimes run into an issue where the car accelerates in it’s own when sitting idle and in park. I got the codes scanned and it came back with a throttle position sensor error and o2 sensor. Has anyone run into behavior like this with those errors?

 

I had the same problem with my 05 XC90 T6. I had to restart it with the front end lower than the rear. The problem would happen when I went uphill. Performance reduced engine system service required messages. my oil on the dipstick (new dipstick from NAPA) showed to be in the middle of the ok range. I drained about a 1/2 quart and the poor performance stopped. A couple days later the messages all went away. I had just had the oil changed a week before this had happened. The oil level did not change on the dipstick.
