2013 XC90 map data
I recently moved from Europe to the states. My map data won’t read the updated map data. I get an error stating I need the original North American disc. I’m not able to get this without going to the dealership and spending 350 for the dvd with the original data. I have the updated disc but it doesn’t recognize it.
As Toni volvo stated, you can download maps, free, from www.support.volvocars.com. However, your Volvo will need to be updated in order to load map updates via the USB port, which means a trip to the dealership. My update was done for free, however some have reported being charged by the dealership for this update.
Hi,
I haven’t relocated a vehicle from Europe, however, based on what I have seen on the updates website it should be possible to download the North America maps (64 GB space required) and upload to your vehicle. I think it will ask if you want to copy over the existing maps and I suggest you answer yes. Future updates can then be completed in the vehicle.
