Firstly,

Apologies, I’m not a petrol head, nor do I know anything about cars!

Basically I have a XC90 t8 dual engine inscription.

When I’m driving in hybrid mode or pure electric, the car is delaying to accelerate. Especially when transitioning from electric to petrol in hybrid mode.

Today I took it to a non Volvo garage where no error codes displayed during diagnostics.

I have been advised by this garage that I should take it to Volvo for a software update.

does that even sound like a solution ?

any advice etc would be great.
