Default Air Conditioning blows sorta cold

My XC90 has been one of the best purchases I've made. I absolutely love the car. Except for its AC. Originally the dealer said they'd replaced the compressor before selling it to me and that it would take a few miles for it to really work effectively. When I disagreed he took $700 off the price of the car if I overlooked it. Thinking that I could fix it myself I agreed. Well, when I went to top up the refrigerant, I discovered it was slightly overcharged. So I released some, bringing it to the correct pressure. The AC got a little colder, then after a week, blew hot air. When I went to add more, I accidently unscrewed the whole thread not just the cap and all R134 escaped. Streuth, so I needed more than one can. Having successfully filled AC systems before I went ahead and recharged the system. Now that it's correctly charged, it still doesn't blow cold air. However, the smaller AC lines in the engine compartment are very cold to the touch and the compressor engages fine and the blower is blowing. I don't have any error codes from the climate control module either. Any ideas. I drive for UBER, so kind of need AC.

If all the refrigerant escaped, air got in. Adding refrigerant with those cans the parts stores sell isn't the way to go. The system needs to be put under a vacuum for at least 15 minutes to remove all air and moisture before recharging.

Default AC filled but now only blows cold occasionally

I just took my XC90 into the shop to have the AC vacummed and recharged. After it was done it still blows warm air. The AC lines in the engine compartment get super cold however. For $100 they said they would pull the codes from the climate control unit, which gave them something like 0071 Dampner position. They then reset the unit and it helped a little. Now it blows cold every now and then. They said it would cost $800 to diagnose. Any ideas, it sounds like something stupidly simple, just discovering it is the trick. Thanks.

A common problem with XC90 is the condenser leaks.
