Have a 55 plate xc90 2.4d

wonder if anyone knows about air con on xc90

had some accident repairs done last week driver side wing new driver side door and repair to driver side passenger door also when the door was removed it flattened the battery and since then the battery kept going flat new battery fitted all ok now ??
also the garage forgot to re-paint the driver side mirror

so the car was taken back and we decided it was best to just remove the mirror and leave it there to be re-painted
so now the bliss system is faulty but obviously because the one mirror is missing and the outside temp is not showing which i gather is because the temp probe is in the drivers mirror ? (think that's correct)

well my air con has decided to stop working when i have the climate control switched on was fine when taken in and when turned fully down to cold the compressor is not kicking in and there is no nice lovely cold air con

is this because the outside temp prob is not connected or does that not have anything to do with the operation of the air con

Any one have any ideas ?????
