Hi folks, first post so apologies if duplicating.
Trying to remove the angle gear from our 2004 XC90 D5.
It made awful noises a few days ago and the output shaft bearing has obviously failed as you can move the propshaft up and down quite a bit.
Got everything undone, EXCEPT, how do you get to the top bolt on the Angle Gear. I can't even see it, is there a trick, because VIDA says glibly remove the 5 bolts.
Doesn't say you need eyes that can go round corners...……………..

 

Hope you figured this out... A wobble extension and a universal joint socket is the best solution, I've found. Lmk If you found a better solution.

 

Yup finaslly dd, when went and removed a use one from a car with engine geabox out, but still took a bit of finding, even when I knew where it was.
