Beeping And Cicking Noise Under Throttle Body

![Question](https://volvoforums.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have a 2005 XC90 2.5 it died on the highway the other day. Cranks and tries to start but wont run. Engine light was on with only code PO336. I changed the crankshaft position sensor, cleared the code. It still wont start but the code stayed clear. now when starting it does not even try to fire. When I turn the key on I get a beeping and clicking noise under the throttle body. I am wondering if it is getting fuel? Is there a easy safe way to check?.
Many Thanks!

The fuel pump and relay seem to be working, at least I can here it running with the key on. I will pick up a pressure gauge tomorrow and a fuel filter looks pretty rusty. I removed the crankshaft sensor and reinstalled again (same problem). I don't think it is that because the code has not returned.
Thanks...
