Can anyone suggest a bike rack for 3 bikes that will fit on a XC90 that doesn’t have a tow bar.

Happy for it just to fit the 3 kids bikes.

actually, adding a tow hitch is pretty easy to do, particularly if all you want is to put a bike rack on it (check out e-trailer.com for pricing and how to's, plus I think they carry roof racks). Does your car have any existing roof rails or bars? you can check out accessories at one of the dealer online stores (Tasca Parts shows factory bars for $220, then you'd need to get the bike kit). I'd also check out outdoor stores REI etc to see who carries Thule - they are pretty much the market leader in roof carriers/bike racks etc. We've used our Thule bullet countless times so if you go with roof bars you can use them for both the bikes and the carrier... Also, U-haul rents bike carriers!
