Default Bumper replacement

Hi

First time post and help sought.

I have a 2004 Volvo XC90. Part of the front bumper has come off (passenger side and the black plastic part that sits below the headlight and covers the fog light.

my question - is it possible to replace this part or do I need to replace the entire front bumper?

many thanks for any help…..

google "volvo 8648335" and see if the bumper's side cover is what you need. You may need a different part depending on your car's configuration, ie with or without fog lamps. Going price is about $90 - but you'd need to have it painted etc.

cool, now you can google for a dealer web store to buy the part - you may also be able to source the part pre-painted (ie check eBay/Amazon using the part number). Considering you also have some scratches on the bumper cover, you probably want to opt for a body shop to paint both the part and fix the scratches on the cover. Typically the paint used on bumpers has an agent mixed in to make the paint flexible. If you just want "close enough" check out some of the vids on Youtube for how to paint your own bumpers. Also there are suppliers who will custom mix paints in a rattle can to match your needs. I've used Levines Auto in Danbury (but then again they are about 10 miles from my house ) so google around for auto paint suppliers and see if they fill aerosol cans to match your color or go with a Duplicolor product. Your car's paint code is probably on the build plate on the driver's door pillar or possibly the firewall.
