Default to buy or not to buy??

should i buy this 204 xc90 2.5t?

144.000k, all service done at volvo with records, they are going to throw in the timing belt job for free. They say the previous owner was an older guy who lived in the country which would explain the amount of k in such a short time. Upon test driving it the vehicle feels excellent, its nice and tight and the body is in great shape. This is the fully loaded package with the extra speaker, power passenger seat ect.

So do you think its a good deal or not, also what kind of gas millage do these models get and how reliable are they.

Thanks.

Good deal? It depends, how much are they asking? Pricing should be in the mid teens I am thinking.

My 2.5 fwd gets mid teens in city and maybe 20 on hwy. Ours has 35k miles.

Reliability on that kind of milage is not well documented. Have them throw in an extended waranty as well.

144K miles? Ill put it this way, I live in the south, bought an 04 XC90 earlier this year for 18K and it only had 24K miles. With that many miles I have a hard time paying anything over 9-10K, but depending on where you live, the valuemight be a whole lot higher than here.

Can you even get and extended warranty with that many miles, and what will it cover?

That is just my 2 cents though.

As for mileage, we have the 2.5T and get 24ish on the highway, and 19ish in town.
