I'm considering a xc90 as my first car. I plan to visit someone selling a 2010 model with 205000km. I wanted to know what additional costs and repairs I should expect at this stage. I'm in a heavy salt zone so is 2010 too old? What other parts would typically need to be replaced at this point? Thank you.

I'm not in a salt zone so I can't answer that question it hardly ever snows here maybe one week in the entire year, but as far as maintenance goes if you want to send the Vin number to me I can get you a carfax engine repair history. You want to see fluids changed on time and a timing belt at this mileage, make sure necessary engine repairs have been made and the vehicle has not been neglected repair wise for months to years on end.
