I知 looking at buying a used xc90. Any advice on year. I知 looking at 2017-2019.

 

I壇 say the later model year, the better. Volvo has worked out many issues over time since the release of the SPA XC90.

 

2019 XC90 T6 models are excellent choices, as there are many out there and dealers are aggressively trying to sell them as 2020s are arriving. If you want a T8 and get the tax credits, they are pricing those very well too. I just locked in a 9% discount off MSRP for a 2020 T8. Also there is a program in which all of the electricity that is used to charge the vehicle for the 1st year of ownership, regardless of where you charge it, will be credited to you in May of 2021. That will be around $750 (+/-) as an additional bonus. The tax credits are in the vicinity of $6,000 depending on your state of residence, which is over and above the discounts. Basically the T6 was about $4,000 less at the deal level than a T8, net of discounts and tax credits when you load them up the same way. It makes for a compelling argument to step up to the T8.
