Default Check Engine Bank 2, sensor 1 Help

Hello to all!
I have a 2004 XC90 Turbo. I have had a few issues with the check engine light. I have a retired Mechanic who is my neighbor. He assisted me with diagnosis of code 0154. We found that it was bank 2, sensor 1. We replaced the o2 sensor and the light went off. Then the next day I go to drive it and the check engine light is back on. So we hooked up the machine again and cleared the code. I drovenit about 60 miles then turned off the car and an hour later the check engine light went back on with the error of bank 2 sensor 1. This has repeated itself now 3 times. Any ideas as to why it seems to reset itself everytime I kill the engine? Thanks
