Hello,

2016 Volvo XC90. Skirting of car has developed white marks which aren't removed(car shampoo/Surfex APC/medium Bilt Hamber Clay Bar/Panel wipe all tried and falied to remove).
Just wondering if this is the beginning stages of clearcoat failure or oxidisation. I have DA and polishers etc so oxidation can be handled.

2 photos of drivers side but same thing happening on passengers.

All other panels on car in very good condition with no sign of this discoloration.

Marks feel somewhat bumpy.

Any help/further reading appreciated.

I've looked at multiple pictures of clearcoat failure and oxidisation and still not sure where this fits.
