Default Computers????? HELP

Long story. I have a 2003 Volvo XC90 T6. Only has 77000 miles. Feel last me a long time, many years.
it has sat for 6 years. Tried best to keep running, started it, moved etc.
new alternator, battery, now.
I have issues & going to fix. Water in vehicle from sunroof drains. The dash interminably on & OFF
been told first replace the ECM under my driver seat.
I have read about dash, water, sunroof problems in this car 😫😫😫
now today the radio out, BLACK.
im hoping someone out there can help explain if I should try & reset all computers/modules. Get a ECM, really hoping some information what to do first.
please & thank you for any & all suggestions.
Angie

Start by checking out the Xemodex web site - they have some good content about CEM and other modules' common fault symptoms and can test/rebuild what you have. Not sure if the 2003s require dealer programming for a replacement module but Xemodex's approach takes care of that as well. Next, you can try pulling connectors off the various modules and clean them to make sure you don't have bad contacts. You may also want to get a wiring diagram or check ebay for a Volvo Vadis or VIDA CD that will give you some process for testing/diagnosing the faults.
