Default Dashboard Electronics Going haywire

Hello, My name is Anne from VA. I drive both a Volvo s70 (1998) and XC90 (2003). Recently I noticed that my dashboard electronic indicators were flashing in and out and shutting down all together. The clock wont stay set and the turn light indication wont flash. I can hear the ticking sound but no lights. The alert messages flash in and out. I don't know what this is, but after spending almost $1,000.00 on 4 tires I am a little nervous.

Unhappy Bad Module

Yes, I was told late yesterday that a module might be bad. I was hoping it was just a bad battery or fuse. This Module thingy sounds expensive.
