Default Does FWD Have Limited Slip?

I am new to this forum but not auto forums. I have searched the Internet and used the search function on this forum with no avail.

I have a 2012 XC90 FWD R-Design. We are considering moving from Florida to Pennsylvania next year and I am concerned about the FWD. I know some FWDs only provide power to one wheel and some have a limited slip, providing some power to the "other" front wheel as needed.

Can someone please shed some light on this for me and/or give some insight/tips on driving in the snow with my set up? Thanks in advance.

Yes, they are limited slip but no where near as good as the AWD version of the XC90. I do not buy the 2WD version for resale.

Thank you. I wanted AWD but it simply wasn't available in Florida without special order. The dealer said they hardly ever get any in stock as they all get sent "up north".
