Hi! New owner of a 05 T6and I keep reading about bad engine mounts. Is there a way to check these myself without going to a dealer/mechanic? Thanks!

 

This may not answer your question directly, but I have used IPD component replacements to upgrade some of the volvo components that tend to under perform. I added the IPD HP Sway bars and upgraded end links to my XC90 to help with the suspension mod I did. Also look at the engine torque mount. Mine was trashed as well. That is right on top of the motor attached to the fire wall.
