Hello, I have a recurring problem with my Volvo XC90 D5 from 2004 (VIN YV1CZ799741115307). I keep getting the message "engine service required" and the car goes into limp mode (speed seriously reduced for several kilometers before going back to normal). The Volvo garage tells me the pressure sensor has to be replaced? I found a pressure sensor here VOLVO XC90 SENSORS 2003-2013 at Swedish Auto Parts at 54 $ - but how do you get access to this spare part and is it easy to replace yourself?
PS I also wondered if this could somehow be linked to the fact that the garage placed a diesel filter on my car ? problem started shortly after. Thanks for any help strandprinsen
