Can anyone tell me how the footwell lighting is supposed to work on a first gen XC90? There is a light on both passenger and drivers side on my 2011 but they don’t seem to come on with the other interior lights when I open a door or press the yellow button on the fob. The owners manual doesn’t even mention them in the interior lighting section which I assume was an oversight. I have confirmed that the bulbs are good.
Any ideas?

 

Don't know when they are supposed to come on - but the yellow button on the remote is the only way to turn on the puddle lights - the bulb in the bottom of the outside mirrors.
