Fuel Pressure Problem

Fuel Pressure Problem
We recently purchased a 2006 Volvo XC90 with 102K miles on it on December 1. We did not purchase an extended warranty because they don't usually cover wear and tear items, and we were purchasing it from a Honda dealer, not a Volvo dealer (don't want the Honda mechanics working on our Volvo). Ironically, on day 2 of our ownership of this vehicle, the Check Engine Light (CEL) came on. We took it to an independent Volvo specialist, who indicated that we needed a new fuel pump. A phone call to the dealership where we purchased this vehicle was in order, and they agreed to replace the fuel pump, but it had to be done at their sister Volvo dealership. 5 days later--we got our Volvo back. We drove it for a week, and then the CEL came on again. We already had it scheduled for service at our indy mechanic to replace the timiing belt and some hoses, so we added this our list, and we asked them to verify that the fuel pump had been replaced. The fuel pump had been replaced, but the CEL was still indicating a fuel pressure problem, so they replaced the fuel pump sensor. The very next day, the CEL came on again. We had it back in the shop today, and they replaced the sensor again (so nice, too--no charge to us) but said that the fuel pressure was reading higher than manufacuter recommendations. They said that the new fuel pump could have a kinked line (or that one of the lines was kinked when replacing the fuel pump or that the computer was going bad). Are there any other reasons that we could be getting a higher than normal fuel pressure reading? We're not experiencing any driveability problems, and they took it for a 25 mile test run and agreed that it runs like a dream. Suggestions, anyone?
