I went through a crazy saga a few months ago with my XC90 stalling, sputtering and generally acting insolent. That issue ended up being the fuel pump control module (PEM). However while tracking the real issue down I also replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned the MAF, replaced the plugs and replaced the fuel pressure sensor.

Yesterday my CEL came on and the code was for the fuel pressure sensor. I deleted the code and it popped up again today. Vehicle performance hasn't changed at all and the previous symptoms cleared up after replacing the PEM months ago.

My question is what in the world could be causing this considering I've replaced almost my whole fuel delivery system?
