I'm looking into getting a hitch for my '11 XC90, and I can get the Draw Tite class 3 hitch at a lower price at Truck Accessories, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and more Aftermarket Truck Parts. Does anyone have this kind of hitch? I have no plan to haul a trailer; just a bike rack and maybe a cargo basket so I think it will suit my needs. I just want to know if this is easy to install and if this hitch is hidden. Please post some pics if you have time. And what else can you recommended to me. Thanks.

 

For me, to install the hitch would be straight forward... The wiring is a bit more difficult if you wanted done right. I got mine of Fleasbay...

 

I have 2006 XC 90 and just installed a hitch I got off EBAY for $156 shipped, It took my son and me 20 min to install. It's a hidden hitch with no trimming required. The most difficult part of the job was freeing the muffler hanger, a little blood shed. I also purchased an Allen 3 bike carrier from Amazon for $ 85.00 shipped. Very happy with that set up, hope this helps.

 

I have bought the same set-up, Hidden Hitch off ebay and Allen 3 bike rack from Amazon. Haven't installed it yet, waiting for warmer weather.
