I've always had my Valentine One hardwired into my cars. Has anyone done that with an XC90? Can you recommend a switched power source that's reasonably easily accessible?

 

Once I discovered the V1 "Savvy" device - that's what I use. It takes constant 12v from the OBD port and turns the V1 on and off when there is Canbus activity. The best benefit is it can automatically mute the V1 at the speed you choose. There's also a port for the remote display on the savvy. (my v1 is mounted on the sunvisor where it can't be seen from outside - but that make it above my head and not easy to view)

 

Thanks! I prefer a standard hardwire arrangement, so I'm hoping to find a switched wire I can tap into.
