Issues
Hi everyone
Purchased the XC90 2005 2.5 AWD at 78000km. I am now at 97000km and have run into some problems .1) Transfer case being replaced(3rd party warranty did not cover it , jerks.)900$ and now 2) fuel pump . The 3rd party warranty company , TransAmerica will cover but check this . they want to replace with a used piece . My question is ...should I let them do this or take it to the dealer where there is a service bulletin on the fuel pump for that model. How does that work , Will it cost me more to go to the dealer or have my mechanic do the job. And finally...any more surprises I should expect . I got rid of my 2000 Toyota 4 Runner at 252000 km and less problems. wonder ing if I should go get one back now.
