XC90 2003 T6 (110K miles), left front pad has worn down totally suddenly, Goodyear said the root cause is pad/caliper stuck to rotor and could not retract after release brake panel. I compared right and left side the gap between caliper and rotor, right side has double space than left .


Goodyear suggests replacing caliper, but OEM part is very expensive >$350.


My questions are:
1. Is it possible to pull back caliper (repair caliper)? how to do it?
2. In case I need to replace caliper, which is better choice:
A - buy an used one on ebay
B - buy an new OE part online
