ok, this all started about a month ago when I returned home from vacation. The first message read "ENGINE SYSTEM SERVICE URGENT" with a red triangle in the dash. The next day the message was gone. Then it returned a couple days later. Then disappeared again. That happened for about a week and hasn't returned (yet). The second message was "ALARM SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" with the yellow info light. The same thing happened with this message (it was on one day, then gone the next). Next message is "BULB FAILURE LOW BEAM" and my right low beam bulb is out. I'm going to swap the bulb with the left one tonight to make sure it is in fact the bulb. The 4th and final message just happened today. "POWER STEERING SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED". This message only appeared for a second and then went out. Please help. Thank you all

for random error codes that appear/clear, start by testing for alternator/battery voltage issues. Behind these dash messages are OBD2 codes - so also have the car scanned for the individual stored fault codes. Finally, it really helps if you post the model/year of your car...
