Just saw a piece of plastic hanging down from underneath, middle near rear wheels. Is this a cover or shield for the gas tank. How do I repair?

 

It must have screws or clips missing. See which ones are missing, go purchase them from the stealer, and put it back on.

 

No. I crawlled under it last night and it is the bottom of the gas tank that has a double wall for protection. the outer shield broke loose from the tank and the wind pulled it down and is now hanging. Do you know what type of plastic the gas tank is made of so I can use an adhesive?
