All, I need to know what octane does my 2010 3.2 XC90 take? I just had to order the owners manual from Ebay. I have been using 93. Is this correct?

 

93 is fine. Just a waste of money, that's all.

87 is the minimum.

The owner's manuals are available for free online, by the way.

 

OK thanks. I will begin using the 87 then. i just was not sure. I wish I had known about the free owners manuals. But, it is worth the cost. $23.00.

Cool, I was wondering the same thing.

Which reminds me, my brother the other said he put 91 in this 1997 BMW 318i. He has always ran 87. It made a huge difference. He says it runs so much better on 91. Anyways, I have run both in my '96 850R and honestly can tell no difference.
