Oil leaks on top of engine

possible sources: Oil fill cap gasket, PCV hoses, VVT gear/solenoid, cam seal, head gasket. I'd start by popping off the timing belt cover just to make sure nothing is leaking and wetting the belt. If it is, you need to address pronto. Next clean up the oil as best you can and recheck after running the car a bit to see if you can find the source. Remember, oil flows down so look top down. I'd also do a PCV "glove" test to see if your PCV is clogged. That'll turn your engine into a bleeder in a hurry.

what year/engine does your car have? Not sure if the circled parts are prime suspects yet - usually the first step is to clean off as much of the oil mess then see where the fresh oil comes from. Given your circles are right next to the oil fill cap (black cap with the oil can icon), I'd probably start by replacing its gasket. $.35 at FCP Euro :-)
