I'm looking at purchasing a 2005 XC90 for my daughter. It has a 2.5 in it and is AWD. Has 85k miles. This will be her first car and I'm only considering such an awesome car for her because it has a small amount of hail damage which makes the price very nice. My question is - What issues can I expect with the vehicle? Is this a reliable vehicle? I've looked at a lot of reviews and it seems to be a fairly well-liked car, but forums are where we can go to get real info. Any help would be very much appreciated by a dad who's buying his first, first car for his kids. :-)

 

Cruise on over to www.cars.com. You'll find a lot of reviews there. The people there usually complain a lot but you should be able to see common problems there.
