A new member here. We have said goodbye to our 1994 850 wagon ( 475,000 km ) and are considering replacing it with a 2009 xc90. We loved almost everything about the 850 especially the seats, and are surprised and disappointed to find out that the headrests on the xc90 are NOT comfortable. They seem to be at least an inch forward of the 850, and poke out not unlike the Subaru Outback. I have read all of the forums about adjusting the seats etc. etc. but we are coming from a "perfect" seat/headrest combination in the 850, and can't believe we have to compromise in any way. Does anybody know if the headrest posts on the xc90 are the same diameter and spacing as the 850? Rather than attempt to bend the posts on the XC90 slightly, I would go to the trouble of switching out headrests if it was possible.
