I found an interesting phenomenon on Edmunds.com. I listed the reviews from negative to positive, and I found the engine/trim that top the list is the 2.5T Turbo FWD, with numerous problems cited. But by reading the forum it seems like the T6 has the most transmission problem.

Any opinion?

 

The 2.5T is WAY more reliable than the T6. People writing the reviews may not know which they have.

 

I personally don't trust much Edmunds reviews section.. I've checked vehicles such as certain VW with quite poor reliability history and Edmunds lists mostly surprisingly good reviews... Like you say, on their forum it looks quite the opposite.

Carsurvey.org seems honest although not everybody have heard of it so not many reviews.
