Terrible creaking noise when turning steering wheel left to right
Hi!
There is a metallic very unhealthy creaking noise coming from the left wheel when turning steering wheel on the asphalt ground (it won't make any noise when it is on the air).
Recently control arm, inner/outer tie rod, spring seat/top bearing assembly have been replaced and they still look clean. This sound is getting bigger and bigger.. could this be CV joint? I took this to garage today to no avail- they said they need to unscrew parts in order to properly examine. Guy said he is suspicious about the CV joint though.
Here is the video I recorded

Have you checked the steering column u-joints? you can test by spraying them for a few days with a penetrating oil and if it goes away you found your cause....im in the middle of changing mine out for almost the same noise.
