Default Took Delivery of 2021 XC90

We took delivery of our new XC90 last week!
I really wanted the R design but it didn't come in a 6 seat config so we ended up ordering a Momentum T6. The dealership threw in the Polestar upgrade for free which was a plus.
Options include the 21 inch wheels, Climate & Advanced Packages and the HK Sound System. I really liked the Nappa Leather upgrade but for the additional cost I didn't think it was worth it not to mention I am not a fan of perforated leather seats - they are a nightmare to keep clean... (tho we did get the blond interior which is going to also be a nightmare to keep clean with 3 kids LOL).

So far we are enjoying the car. There are so many settings to get used to that it's been a bit overwhelming for my wife, but after time she'll get used to it.
We unfortunately had a wheel out of balance from the get go and an annoying vibration at highways speeds which they fixed yesterday by re-balancing all the wheels.
I had to immediately turn off all of the nannies - not sure how anyone drives around with the lake keep on or some of the other drivers aids... wow - so intrusive. The HUD is even a bit much for me having that right in your line of sight constantly...

All in all I think it's going to be a great family vehicle for us.
Windows got tinted Friday, stone gauge installed Saturday, Weather Tech's installed yesterday. New Snow Tires coming today... ready for winter!

We recently bought a used 2017 Volvo Certified XC90 T6 Inscription with 32,000 miles, AWD, and the blonde interior, Savile Gray body color. No kids to worry about yet (maybe grand kids soon?) but we, too, are worried about keeping the perforated seats clean. Amazing car (it's really a truck with a weight of a little over 6,000 pounds) with lots of bells and whistles to learn about. We live in Asheville, NC, and are interested about how it will be in the snow.

We went down to 19's for snow tires. Nokian Tires. Total was around 2k. It's brilliant in the snow now.
The all season tires these come with would not have been great in the snow. The tread pattern is not aggressive and reviews of those scorpion tires in snow are poor, especially with some wear in them. I'm also used to snow tires on all our vehicles and my expectations are high.

Sharp car. I haven't heard of a stone gauge before, what's that?

Default Sharp looking car

Congratulations on your XC90! I love the color.
I just got and XC90 2018 and can't be more please with it.
I'm just happy I do not have to have an extra set of tires for snow. I'm in TX so snow is not a problem.
Enjoy!
