Tools needed for brake caliper removal 2019 xc90
Can someone please tell me what kind of tool and size I need to remove the brake caliper from a 2019 XC90 T6?
I tried a T55 and L wrench 10mm but both feel loose and don’t wanna strip anything. I can’t find any info Youtube or online with this question?
Thank you!

Are you removing the front or rear? If you're removing the rear, you'll need a scan tool to wind back the automatic parking brake.
The caliper to caliper-bracket bolts are 7mm allen heads front and rear. The caliper bracket to spindle bolts are 15mm Front, and 13mm rear. (Could also be 18mm front and 15mm rear...)
19mm for the lug bolts, a T-40 torx for the brake disc to hub bolt (smack this T-40 with a punch, then hold the disc in place with a screwdriver lodged between the brake disc and caliper bracket, tighten slightly, then loosen and it should come off.)
Zip ties to hold the caliper as you finish the job, stiff brush, brakleen, and maybe a caliper file.
Torque wrench for the wheels 135NM. Caliper bolts, as tight as you can go with a wrench or ⅜" ratchet and socket.
Does that make sense?

Brakes replaced
Hello all and thank you for your replies.
I failed to mention that it was for the front brakes and the only tool i needed was a 11mm allen wrench which i purchased from Ace Hardware in fullerton Ca. Finding that tool proved extreme difficulty, not sure why because i was struggling to find it online as well.
I removed the 2 caliper bolts with the L wrench, removed the caliper, used a socket to beat out the outside brake pad because it comes with an adhesive, cleaned out any adhesive residue from the caliper with GooGone, pushed back the piston (Vehicle DOES NOT need to be in service mode, only for rear brakes), installed new pads and Bobs your uncle! Very easy and was none of the BS the service techs from La Puente Volvo were telling me. I think they gave me bogus info to discourage me from doing the brakes myself. I was upset about that being that i give them business. Anyways, thanks for replying!
