Default Touchscreen upgrade for the XC90

Hello 👋,

i own a Volvo XC90, a 2013 I believe, and I would like to add a big touchscreen slab to upgrade the tiny original screen that doesn’t show much on it, I would like to get the biggest screen possible and if it’s even possible, get the whole original dashboard off and replace it with a massive screen that would do everything like a Tesla dashboard.

if anybody could help me find something similar or guide me so I know where to search that would be amazing already 😁

happy new year to everybody by the way.

Best regards,

Roman.

Looking to do the same things... Found many Android options, 2din 10inch screens. Trying to validate steering wheel options and premium audio amp and speaker integration.

In the notes I believe some people talked about opening the steering wheel and rewiring the steering wheel Controls.... Was that necessary? I thought we can get wiring harness to just plug in and not require remove airbag and rewire controls. Can you confirm.

And did this end up using he factory amp or bypass?

My set is using the factory amp through a grom-module.
wirh the delivery comes also a repacement print for in the steeringwheel.
actual it is plug and play.
The only thing was because of using the grom-module, i had to unlock the MOST security at the volvo dealer

Sorry to keep asking clarifications.... is this the Grom-module you used?
https://www.gromaudio.co.uk/products...2-06-xc90.html
is the stero then connect to the Grom via the Aux-input?
and is the POF connector then in the AMP or where does that connect.
for steering wheel - is it something like this you got https://incartec.co.uk/product/VOLVO...trol-Interface
would this work too you think https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...he-LPVO15.html

really appreciate you sharing this details....

Yes, that grom, with the 3,5 jack connection
The steering wheel print is just a swap
Not sure about other solutions, just because I don’t have experience with them
