Default towing 5000 pounds with my 2005 2.5T XC90

Next winter I'll have to haul around 5000lbs including tandem wheel trailer and load occasionally and for about 15 miles on a 30mph speed limit road. Two guys told me that I won't be able to haul that with my XC and one of them told that the parts in the tranny are mounted on nylon bushings and as soon as it heats it breaks the tranny and welcome the $$$$$ repairs. I would like to keep My XC but I will have to haul. Is the nylon bushings thing is real? I know that the towing capacity of my 2.5 turbo is 5000lbs and it has a trans cooler and 5000 hitch. My 4 wheels trailer has hydraulic breaks.
I would be glad to have opinions on this (beside telling me to buy a huge pick-up lol)

I don't think it will be a problem for that short distance and speed, especially with trailer brakes. I haul a 4000 lb. plus boat occasionally with mine over longer distances. I think the general recommendation is to limit the weight to 2/3 rds of the total capacity, but that would be for long trips etc.

Hauled a 4200 lb audi a6 quattro wagon on a heavy duty 2500 lb tandem trailer for over a 100 miles at 60 mph max. My car was a 98 v70 non turbo. Did drive gently n carefully, left plenty of room to brake. You should have no problems w 4WD.

Hi Everyone! I have a 2006 XC90 and need to tow a travel trailer. Please tell me a brand of hitch and receiver you recommend for the XC90. Thanks for your time.

Also how do I find out the Trim whether its 2.5 T or V8. Should I look in my manual? I'm a total noob sorry.
