Hi There, I have a XC90 t6 aprox 61000 miles,with a transmission concern,when driving the transmission will some times slip or not ingauge when going into hi gear.This has happened a few times but is not consistant,i took it to the dealer they serviced transmission and inspected it ,said they found no problems and it was fine,guess what it did it again.I looked on differnt web sites and many have hade simuliar concers but i cant seem to find a fix to this problem, Can anybody help? Thanks

 

You need a new transmission. The transmission in your vehicle is notoriously problematic. My recommendation is to take the vehicle to your dealer and give them a hard time until they agree to do a "goodwill warranty" on it. If you are persistent enough, you will most likely get some sort of free work done. It may not be a total coverage, but they will most likely contribute towards the repair.
