Hey guys , recently purchased a 06 xc90 8cyl with 113k at auction, when i drove it from the auction to emissions (18mi) no issues , it drove flawlessly, it passed emissions and as I was driving off the emissions lane, i noticed the brake light was on, unhooked the brake and still acted like it was engaged, turned the engine off/on that fixed it but on my way home taking off from a stop sign or red light the low speeds would stall to reach , i took the car to my friend who own a mechanic shop, he put his fancy machine and it read over 15 codes and told me this car is better to re run it at the auction, funny thing i put a generic scanner and it says no codes found, on the way to the auction (18mi), it drove great no issues at all, the vehicle ran already 3x at the auction and no on want to give me over $3k, im close to $5k into this vehicle, im thinking about running it one last time and if doesnt sell take it to another mechanic to check it out.
