Used 2008 3.2 XC90--Issues to look out for?

Used 2008 3.2 XC90--Issues to look out for?
Looking at buying a 2008 XC90 3.2 AWD with ~39K miles on it.
I've read all the horror stories about the T6 Transmission, Angle Gear Issues, and electronics issues with order cars, but haven't come across many complaints on newer models.
Any idea if most of these issues have been sorted out by now?
Any tips on what to look for on test drive or inspection with this particular model?
Car I'm looking at still has ~10K and a year plus on the factory warranty, so that gives a little piece of mind.

2008s are with the new 3.2 engine so i think they are free of the older T6 model issues.. so i think youre good. i love the way the 2008 looks on the outside and pretty much the inside. however, i absolutely HATE the fact that it doesnt have built in bluetooth on the steering wheel or anywhere for that matter.. for a volvo, it saddens me.. but theyre after market ones you can have...but still. otherwise, awesome car, the 2008s that is
