So my wifes 2007 3.2 xc90 has a vibration. When she traveled 80mph it would shake pretty bad. We put all new tires on it and now it shakes at 90mph. I already told her the speed limit is 70 around here but I would like to find out what the underlying issue is. Rear wheel bearings replaced 5000 miles ago. Car has 145000 miles. We have owned since it had 40000 miles on it. What might ot be?

 

Shaking in the seat, or shaking in the steering wheel? Tells you where to start. If in the wheel it's something in front. Try swapping tires front to rear, does it stay or move with the wheels? Then tell her to slow down.
