Is there a way to just replace the blades only ($6 approx.)? If so, how do I remove the old blades from the housing or do I have to replace the whole set ($60 - yikes!)

 

Don't know where you are, I just replaced mine with a set of silicon edged blades from Costco, 16 dollar and change, complete with frmae and blades. It fit and works better than the original set. The original set was working fine until they replaced the wiper arm spring(factory recall: claim the spring is not strong enough on teh 2004's).
