Hi

My volvo xc90 d5 2009 was fine until i used an app (obd2 facile) and red triangle lit up. There is no volvo dealer here in mauritius so i had the error message read by Bosch service. Error code is 2A10 and description is dpf pressure sensor signal faulty. I had the sensor changed but the error message would not clear meaning the problem is still there. Could this be due to the app messing about the ecu or should i change the temperature sensor instead. I have read on a forum that the code 2a10 means tenperature sensor not pressure sensor on volvo vida. Please can anyone help. Thanks

 

ECM-2A10 means temperature sensor issue.
For pressure sensor is ECM-2A00

Really appreciate your help. There are a few dpf temperature sensor i have read people saying. Do you know which one might be faulty...any picture would be most appreciated.

Anyone else has experienced thisissue?

Well, I got a Bosch technician test my Volvo xc90 with live sensor readings - looks like all is ok....except for the temperature sensor which had a stable 350 degrees reading - I was expecting the temperature to rise as the engine was running....so it does seem that this is the culprit.

On another note, I think what causes this failure is the a/c water which drips on the sensor connector continuously....I asked the guy and he said possibly - How could Volvo allow this to happen, I don't know....do you guys think that the water pipe for the a/c is damaged or whether it should be moved?

Also, I need to buy this sensor urgently - there is no Volvo dealership here....where can I buy this from?

sorry for my english, i buy a volvo c30 d5 geartronic 180 from 2009, it s a good car and look like no one
but, i can t up 4000 rpm and and it seem that at cold engine she works better
after process to scan, i have a problem with code 2a10 and talk about fap in french
i think it s the same problem like xc90 dreamer
someone can help please
