HI Guys, Happy new year to you all. Im hoping someone can help me out before i lose my mind lol.. I have a 2009 xc90. I installed a tow bar and a VTI module for the led trailer lights, but they are all over the palce. when indicate both tail light and indicators flash, when put on hazards everything flashes. Ive had replacement led trailer lights new cabling and new 7 pin adapetrs still same, so i can only think its wiring in the car,

so the company i bought the VTI controller unit from gave me these colour codes, which i have followed. These are the wiring instructions our technician’s would work off for your vehicle.


WIRING INSTRUCTIONS


Car Controller
Earth BLACK White
Left GREEN Yellow
Right GREEN-WHITE THICK Green
Brake YELLOW Red
Tail WHITE-GREY Brown

Im not sure what this remove plug means, ive wired up exactly as they said, is the colour wiring correct for the car?Wiring Interface VTI
